🌍 Why China for This Sector

China produces more electric vehicles than the rest of the world combined. BYD has overtaken Tesla in global EV sales. CATL supplies battery cells to BMW, Ford and Volkswagen. The EV transition is not a future event in China — it is the present reality, operating at a scale that Western markets have not approached. For automotive executives, energy investors, supply chain strategists and MBA groups focused on the energy transition, China's EV ecosystem is the essential benchmark that Western analysis consistently underestimates.

The Intelligence Gap

Executives who complete this programme consistently report that their understanding of China's capability was significantly behind the reality they observed on the ground. The gap between what Western analysis suggests and what direct observation reveals is the most valuable intelligence the programme provides — and it cannot be obtained without going.
