🌍 Why China for This Sector

China is simultaneously the world's largest carbon emitter and its largest clean energy investor. It produces 80% of the world's solar panels, 60% of wind turbines and the majority of grid-scale battery storage. Its carbon neutrality commitment — peak emissions by 2030, carbon neutral by 2060 — is backed by the largest clean energy investment programme in human history. For sustainability executives, ESG investors, energy policy professionals and MBA groups focused on climate strategy, China's green economy is the essential reference point that no Western briefing or report can adequately convey.

The Intelligence Gap

Executives who complete this programme consistently report that their understanding of China's capability was significantly behind the reality they observed on the ground. The gap between what Western analysis suggests and what direct observation reveals is the most valuable intelligence the programme provides — and it cannot be obtained without going.
