Section 01
Overview
This Payment Policy sets out the terms and conditions governing all payments made to China Study Tour (CST) Global in connection with our study tour programmes. By making a payment or confirming a booking, you agree to the terms set out in this policy. Please read this document carefully before proceeding with any payment.
Section 02
Booking Deposit
To confirm your place on any China Study Tour (CST) program, a non-refundable deposit is required. The deposit amount varies depending on the program type and group size.

Your booking is only confirmed upon receipt of the deposit payment. Places cannot be held without a confirmed deposit.
Section 03
Final Payment
The remaining balance of your program fee must be paid in full before departure. Final payment deadlines are as follows:

| Programmes of 8–14 days | 45 days before departure |
| Programmes of 15 days or more | 60 days before departure |
Failure to make full payment by the deadline may result in cancellation of your booking. The deposit will be forfeited in such cases.
Section 04
Accepted Payment Methods
We accept the following payment methods for all program fees:
- International Bank Transfer (SWIFT / TT) — preferred method for all corporate clients
- Payment in USD, EUR, GBP or CNY (Chinese Yuan)
- Bank details will be provided in your official invoice
- All bank transfer fees are the responsibility of the paying party
We do not currently accept credit card payments or PayPal. All payments must be made by bank transfer. If you require an alternative arrangement, please contact us to discuss.
Section 05
Invoicing & Receipts
An official invoice will be issued upon booking confirmation. A payment receipt will be issued within 3 business days of each payment being received and confirmed. All invoices are issued in the name of the organisation or individual making the booking. Please ensure your billing details are correct at the time of booking as invoices cannot be amended once issued.
Section 06
Cancellation & Refund Policy
We understand that circumstances can change. Our cancellation and refund policy is as follows:

The deposit is non-refundable under all circumstances. Refunds will be processed within 14 business days of the cancellation being confirmed in writing.
Section 07
Cancellation by China Study Tour (CST) Global
In exceptional circumstances, China Study Tour (CST) Global reserves the right to cancel or postpone a program. This may occur due to:
- Insufficient group numbers (for open-enrollment monthly tours)
- Force majeure events including natural disasters, pandemics or political instability
- Restrictions imposed by the Chinese government or relevant authorities
- Safety concerns that make the program impossible to deliver
In the event of cancellation by China Study Tour (CST) Global, a full refund of all payments received will be issued within 14 business days. We will not be liable for any additional costs incurred including flights, visas or travel insurance.
Section 08
Program Changes & Amendments
If you wish to make changes to your booking after confirmation, please contact us as soon as possible. Amendment fees may apply:
- Name changes: No charge if notified 30+ days before departure
- Date changes: Subject to availability and a rebooking fee
- Itinerary changes: Subject to supplier costs and an administration fee
- Reduction in group size: May result in per-person price adjustment
Section 09
Currency & Exchange Rates
All program fees are quoted in US Dollars (USD) unless otherwise agreed. If payment is made in an alternative currency, the exchange rate applied will be the rate on the date of payment. China Study Tour (CST) Global is not responsible for any losses arising from currency fluctuations between the date of booking and the date of payment.
Section 10
Late Payments
Payments not received by the agreed due date may result in:
- Cancellation of the booking without refund of the deposit
- Release of reserved places to other clients
- A late payment charge of 2% per month on overdue amounts
If you are experiencing difficulty making payment by the due date, please contact us immediately. We will always try to find a workable solution where possible.
Section 11
Governing Law
This Payment Policy shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the People's Republic of China. Any disputes arising in connection with payments or this policy shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Beijing, China.
