Section 03

Booking & Confirmation

A booking is confirmed only when China Study Tour (CST) Global has received the required deposit payment and issued a written booking confirmation. Until a written confirmation is issued, no booking exists and no places are held. All bookings are subject to availability.

• All bookings must be made in writing by email or through our website enquiry form
• A booking confirmation will be issued within 3 business days of deposit receipt
• It is your responsibility to check the confirmation details and notify us of any errors within 48 hours
• All participants must be accurately named at the time of booking or as soon as practicable

Section 04

Pricing & What Is Included

All program prices are quoted in US Dollars (USD) unless otherwise agreed in writing. Prices are confirmed at the time of booking and will not change after a booking confirmation has been issued, except in cases of significant currency fluctuation or government-imposed charges outside our control.

Program prices typically include:

• All ground transportation within China as specified in the itinerary
• Hotel accommodation as specified (3, 4 or 5 star depending on program)
• All meals as specified in the program itinerary
• Expert bilingual guide for the full duration of the program
• All company visit fees, entrance fees and activity costs as listed
• Pre-departure briefing materials and post-tour report (executive programmes)

Program prices do NOT include:

• International flights to and from China
• Chinese visa fees and application costs
• Travel insurance (strongly recommended for all participants)
• Personal expenses, tips and optional activities not listed in the itinerary
• Medical expenses or costs arising from illness or injury

Section 05

Payment Terms

All payments are governed by our Payment Policy, which forms part of these Terms and Conditions. Key payment terms are summarised below:

• A non-refundable deposit of 25–50% is required to confirm a booking
• Full payment must be received 30–60 days before departure depending on program length
• Payment must be made by international bank transfer (SWIFT/TT)
• All bank transfer charges are the responsibility of the paying party
• Late payment may result in cancellation without refund of deposit

Section 06

Itinerary Changes & Substitutions

China Study Tour (CST) Global reserves the right to make changes to the published itinerary where necessary. Changes may be required due to company availability, weather conditions, government regulations or other factors outside our control.

• Minor changes (order of visits, meal venues, transport routes) may be made without notice
• Significant changes will be communicated as soon as practicable
• Company visits may be substituted with equivalent alternatives of similar value
• In the event of a significant change, you may choose to accept the change or cancel with a full refund

Section 07

Participant Responsibilities

All participants are responsible for ensuring they meet the requirements to travel to and within China. Specifically, all participants must:

• Hold a valid passport with at least 6 months' validity beyond the program end date
• Obtain the correct Chinese visa or confirm visa-free eligibility before departure
• Obtain comprehensive travel insurance covering medical, cancellation and personal liability
• Disclose any medical conditions or special requirements at the time of booking
• Behave in a manner respectful of Chinese culture, laws and customs throughout the program
• Follow all instructions given by China Study Tour (CST) Global guides and staff
• Not engage in any activities that may bring China Study Tour (CST) Global into disrepute

Section 08

Health & Safety

The safety and wellbeing of all participants is our highest priority. China Study Tour (CST) Global takes all reasonable precautions to ensure a safe program experience. However:

• Participants travel at their own risk and must have appropriate insurance
• China Study Tour (CST) Global is not liable for illness, injury or death during the program
• Participants with pre-existing medical conditions must inform us before booking
• China Study Tour (CST) Global reserves the right to seek emergency medical assistance on behalf of any participant and to recover costs incurred
• All participants must comply with any health and safety requirements at company visit venues

Section 09

Photography & Media

Photography and filming restrictions vary between company visit venues. Participants must respect all photography policies at each location. China Study Tour (CST) Global may take photographs or video during programmes for use in marketing materials. If you do not wish to be photographed, please notify us in writing before the program begins.

• Photography inside company facilities may be restricted or prohibited
• Participants must not share confidential information obtained during company visits
• All intellectual property encountered during visits remains the property of the host company

Section 10

No Shopping Policy

China Study Tour (CST) Global operates a strict no shopping policy on all programmes. We do not include shopping stops in any itinerary and we receive no commission from any shops, restaurants or retail venues. All program time is dedicated exclusively to the stated educational and business objectives of the tour.

Section 11

Confidentiality

Participants may be exposed to confidential or commercially sensitive information during company visits and executive briefings. All participants agree to:

• Treat all information received during company visits as confidential unless told otherwise
• Not share, publish or reproduce confidential information without the host company's consent
• Sign any non-disclosure agreements required by host companies prior to visits
• Use information obtained solely for the personal educational benefit of the participant

Section 12

Force Majeure

China Study Tour (CST) Global shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performing its obligations where such failure or delay results from circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to:

• Natural disasters, pandemics, epidemics or public health emergencies
• Acts of war, terrorism, civil unrest or political instability
• Government actions, travel bans or border closures
• Strikes, industrial action or infrastructure failure
• Extreme weather conditions making travel unsafe

Section 13

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, China Study Tour (CST) Global's total liability to any client or participant shall not exceed the total program fees paid by that client. China Study Tour (CST) Global shall not be liable for any indirect, consequential, special or punitive damages arising from participation in any program or use of our website or services.

Section 14

Intellectual Property

All content on the China Study Tour (CST) Global website and in our marketing materials, including text, images, logos, itineraries and program designs, is the intellectual property of China Study Tour (CST) Global. No content may be reproduced, distributed or used for commercial purposes without our prior written consent.

Section 15

Privacy & Data Protection

China Study Tour (CST) Global collects and processes personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy. By making a booking, you consent to the collection and use of your personal data as described in our Privacy Policy, available at china-study-tour.com/privacy-policy.

Section 16

Amendments to These Terms

China Study Tour (CST) Global reserves the right to update or amend these Terms and Conditions at any time. The most current version will always be available on our website. Your continued use of our services following any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. For bookings already confirmed, the terms applicable at the time of booking will apply.

Section 17

Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the People's Republic of China. Any disputes arising in connection with these terms or any program operated by China Study Tour (CST) Global shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Beijing, China. We will always seek to resolve disputes amicably before pursuing formal legal proceedings.
